The Fabrication Core of the Center on the Microenvironment & Metastasis is designed to further the research goals of the Center by providing researchers with access to equipment, capabilities and technical support. Core support staff assist researchers in the initial stages of fabrication projects and provide training and resources to enable these researchers to advance their research projects.
Our Center partners with the Nanobiotechnology Center NBTC which combines world-class nanofabrication and analysis tools with experience in interdisciplinary research. For users of any academic background, facility staff members offer extended support in problem solving throughout a research project and training in the use of tools and equipment that may be unfamiliar to them.
Special workshops, in such topics as scanned probe microscopy, cell culture techniques and surface characterization techniques for biomaterials, introduce new technologies that can have a significant impact on research progress.
