Peter C. Doerschuk received BS, MS, and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT and an MD degree from Harvard Medical School.
After post graduate education at Brigham and Women's Hospital and a postdoc at MIT he was on the faculty in ECE at Purdue University until he moved to BME and ECE at Cornell University in 2006. His interests are in the creation and validation of mathematical models for biological and medical phenomena, statistical inference and prediction, signal and image processing, and high performance computing. He has used these tools to solve problems in a variety of areas ranging from structural biology to pharmacokinetics.
